Product Description
Handcrafted Cochiti Pueblo drums by Ray Gallegos and the Cochiti Pueblo Mission. The drums are made from one of two types of wood: cottonwood or aspen. This particular drum is made from cottonwood with the center hollowed out. Rawhide is the other material used; it is soaked in water until it can be stretched over the hollowed trunks and it is it used to tie the bottom and top piece together. Each drum comes with a single drumstick. This drum measures approximately 5 1/2 inches in diameter. Please allow 3-5 days for orders to be received and processed before shipment.
