14" tunable Sonor hand drum with plastic head. Plastic heads have a more dry and sterile sound, but their advantage lies in maintenance. In contrast to genuine skins, plastic heads are not hygroscopic - in other words, there is no need to retune them when the room temperature and humidity level change. All Sonor hand drums have adjustable heads and hardwood shells.
